I didn't say that was the only selection criteria, but a lady who understands the functions of a dump valve may be of greater interest. :D

I've got a recirc in there as opposed to atmosphere so it's not that noticeable.

    Got atmosphere on the Datsun

Whooo what is with the hanging around commitment talk, they are perfectly convenient for one nighters.

All you got to do is drive down to Southend, drive along the seafront, let the dump valve drop and your night is set.

Dump valves sound like truck air brakes... I never understood what was so great about a loud hissing noise when you lift off.

compressor surge... that's a nice noise.... but dump valves sound stupid.... as stupid as the people who don't know the difference between the two in fact..... but not as stupid as those that think it's waste gate flutter... they're really stupid.

    :)

    WTF was that? Lol!

@Pook - Back in the boyracer era when I had my GTIR with its HKS Blow off valve. I had more Chicks/Ladies/Sl..ts sat on my lap then than I do now flickin the handbrake on and off in my truck...

So Dump valves and blow off valves is a Chick/Lady/Sl..t puller. :D:hehe:

I prefer the whine of a roots style superchatger.

Now you're talking.... although the Ford FRPP chargers like the ones found on the Shelby are a Whipple twin screw, not a roots :)

My ideal engine would need to have a twin turbo for high boost and low boost + a supercharger for where the turbo's fails in those areas, along with Hondas Vtec!

I can just imagine putting your foot down and releasing one almighty surge from tick over to the redline! Oh, and the noise it would make! :D

Her is my current toy. 1986 mustang. Rare sand beige paint and sand beige interior. Originally a 4cyl 4 speed car. It was converted to a 4cyl turbo 5 speed car. It now has a motor and trans from a 1988 thunder bird turbocoupe. Basically the same motor as the old Ford SVO. Has a bunch of suspension upgrades from maximum motorsports.

    Thanks

This one is only at 8psi at the moment. Needs a bigger fuel pump to turn the boost up to 18psi. Also have a bunch of go fast motor parts for it. Big turbo, FMIC, stainless header, etc.
Yup 87+ tail lights. We're on it when I got it.

    Thanks.

Here is a quick pic of the motor. The car doesn't have a/c. It was built as a track day car that can be driven to work if I wanted. The first day I had it out, I had a guy in a c5 z06 want to race. I smiled an told him it was just a 4 cyl. He said "that sure is a lot of tire for a 4 cylinder." they are 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. 245/45 front and 295/35 rear. I had plans to build a 2.5L 30psi motor but decided to sell it before I go crazy.
