Hi, Just a question really, title says it all. Wanted to know if it was just me. The bit-tech site has been ridiculously slow the past week or so. I have a pretty quick BT infinity broad band that isnt slow with any other site. Or have I missed something about this in the bit-tech news?? Cheers.
Every once and again the forums will hang, but apart from that it's quick. I don't think you can bring Infinity into it... my internet sucks but the forums still appear almost instantly.
The slowness at midnight is down to the DB backup I assume (pretty much always been this way) However the past few days the server is at a crawl pace in the early hours

I get the odd slow down, from time to time and every thing stops usually between 12.20 and 12.23 am for the servers to do their thing
Cheers for the replys. Guess it is my end then. Hangs for around 5-10 secs on every page. I know, not "ages", but it doesnt happen on any other site. Oh well. (have tried firefox and w.expl. btw)
