I got to the 6th episode (I think) of Continuum and it never really grabbed me. Does it improve? Edit: 777th post ^^
Well i have watched from episode 1-10 and the series does end on a interesting note, though how it will continue for season 2 will be interesting. Give it a watch, as its only 10 episodes and may likely end after season 2- as im not sure where they can take the story.
The Wire The Sopranos Mad Men Game of Thrones Romanzo Criminale The 4400 Fresh Meat Peep Show 24 Sons of Anarchy Damages Dexter The X-Files Battlestar Galactica
But the previous attempt at a Red Dwarf comeback was awful... I really want it to work but I guess I may have grown up a bit since the hey day... Six Feet Under was really good. So was Rescue Me.
I am watching Homeland at the moment is really good, but a series that cannot fail would have to be The Big Bang Theory
Utopia is really good. And it's still on 4OD Old stuff that everybody should watch: Look Around You The Day Today Garth Marenghi's Darkplace 15 Storeys High Other good series: Breaking bad Homeland The Thick Of It
I'm starting to get into watching backlogs of TV series, too. I started watching The Sopranos from the beginning but just couldn't get into it after the fourth episode. Grimm has been good so far. Once Upon a Time - first series was quite good, second series less so, has it's ups and downs. Drop Dead Diva - premise seemed good but after the first four or five I'm still waiting for it to get going, no real meat there as yet. Suits, the first series was really good and the second series is nearly as good so far, seems less 'pacy'. Walking Dead is very good, it's my favourite TV series so far. Certainly the very first few episodes are the best TV that's been about for quite some time. I quite liked 'Dead Like Me', but it got canned. Reaper I've not seen for ages and should catch up with it sometime as that was pretty good. I quite watching Wheeler Dealers, some find Mike annoying but I think he's alright and Edd's a leg-end. I find How I Met Your Mother just 'something to watch'. I dunno, perhaps my sense of humour is off-kilter but I find myself just not laughing. New Girl, however, I find pretty funny.
I stoped watching the walking dead on the last epsiode before the christmas break, it got too boring and slow, the ending to season 2 is pretty predictable.
at the moment i am watching the following Vikings.......New only on E03 Spartacus Walking dead Deception Nikita Big Bang Theory
So since this thread started, some more that I have started and can now comment on: 1) Homeland - too.damn.slow for me. Not bad, but the first two episodes felt like they took forever. 2) Falling Skies (season 1 finished, S2 pending) - Good fun. Best described as "V meets Jericho". 3) The Pacific - a follow up (not historically a sequel) to Band of Brothers. Pretty much what I was expecting. Spartacus is at season 4 right now (season 3, if not counting the prequel that was season 2)... good fun, though I think we all know how it'll end. Dr Who is at season 7 (more like 37 if we count the pre-2005 ones), better than ever.
If you're into vintage stuff, I've went through these with my wife, (who's not that good at English). Get Smart Allo Allo Bottom (difficult that one, speech is too quick for her and too many "unknown" words)* *mind you I didn't know what knob a knob joke was about when I first watched it on the BBC oh so many moons ago. In "Oxfords Advanced Learners", a knob is a button not a...knob.
It's shockingly bad and so blatantly fake but I can't stop watching Lizard Lick Towing at the moment. Half an hour of switch your brain off TV. Hoping for a new series of CSI: New York soon too.
I am just about finished Homeland good series, takes a little to get into but a good tv show overall.
