I'm not usually one to say "OMG", but OMG! That is one SWEET system. It's amazing how lovely the acrylic looks. The straight tube WCing must have been a pain for you guys but it just blends in with the acrylic so nicely, especially with the two colour reservoir system!

    It really is amazing!

I hope you don't mind me asking you here as I couldn't find the original thread, but do you mind telling me where you buy the threaded inserts? I'm going to use them as I don't particularly want to tap acrylic haha.

Also, what's the process to getting them into the acrylic? Do I just drill a hole that's slightly smaller than the diameter of the inserts and then simply use a soldering iron to melt it into that hole? I haven't actually tried any modding yet so whilst your pictures are brilliant, I'm not understanding the pictures and I need some words to explain what's going on in the pictures :D Hope you can spare the time, thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. I must say it will be acrylic tubing all the way. The stress levels are much higher working with it but end result well worth!

As for the inserts you can get them all over the net: 'M3 Brass heat inserts'. As for the process you can literally mark the acrylic with a pencil or whatever first. You can then use the soldering iron to pick up the thread. Put the thread in place and it will just slowly insert once it's had time to heat up. I usually have a second pair of hands with a screw driver to keep the inset in place when I pull the soldering iron away.

Hopefully this clears things up. We've had no need for a pilot hole but it wouldn't hurt.

Thank you for the detailed reply!

Ah, no wonder I couldn't find any like them, I was searching for "M3 threaded inserts". Silly me haha.

I really appreciate you sharing your protips with me, I will use it wisely :D

Thanks mate. Considering we put the video together real fast I'm happy!
The next event it will be at will be iSeries 49. However we are looking to find something to slot in between now and then if you know of anything sooner!

    Gorgeous case and phenomenal worksmanship...

    Two guestions for you guys:

Are the two-tone acrylic pieces two separate sheets glued together? I'm mulling over how black on red vs red on black would look.

Is there room in the standard case for 2-way SLI or Crossfire? Looks like it'd be a bit tight on the bottom for fittings.

The two layers are held together with screws. You can remove the first layer. This reveals a countersunk section for the front fans etc.

Once you've put the waterblock on there is plenty of room for 90° fittings no problem :)

Ah thanks! I suppose I was the same, I think its combining it with frosted colours and the stark contrast. Glad I could show off some white case joy!

Haha, I suppose now I've left the keyboard scene its become more of a daily driver. An amazing one at that though really needs a good clean now. Woops :geek:

May go with the one of the female rather than me. Considering we've now had someone sit on the case and lay on it id say that's a testament to its strength!
