ARGH!! Why no search ability??

    Well, the title is self-explanatory. When I click the "search" button at upper right, I get a message that says I am not authorized to use that function. WTF?

    the function is disabled to save costs on bandwidth.... Im pretty sure one of the BiT staff mentioned this not long ago ;)

    not really to save on B/W but to prevent the load on our CPU's on the server imagine all you lot searching,

    1. cpu usage will go to 100%

    and

    2. because the forums are on the same site the whole site will grind to a holt!

    okely-dokely! Hopefully when the site gets super huge tho, we can search, cuz otherwise you will get people asking the same stuff over and over- less work for you! :)
