I'm not a photographer myself, but a friend just linked me to this site and I thought you guys might be interested - http://blog.aurumlight.com/2013/05/28/milk-pinup/ (Some NSFW content)
The Misty Mountain photo is one of those images that is just nice to have. It may have been done a thousand times before, but I still like it. Well done. And the sheep image? Well, I just love everything about it. I have a feeling it will find its way into my desktop rotation.
It's funny how similar this one is to my earlier shot of the same aircraft. I prefer this one because of the gear being retracted, though: (clicky for biggy)
Thanks, that lake is quite a nice photographic stop with attached car park, good for driving holidays. Marshall Point Lighthouse 1 by whisperwolf, on Flickr Rock Pile by whisperwolf, on Flickr Chipmunk by whisperwolf, on Flickr

That lighthouse shot is gorgeous, I'm rather struck with that. Did you manage to do anything but take pictures on your hols?
not really, it was a taking pictures and eating holiday mainly. So many nice places to visit and take pictures off and some stunning restaurants too.
Love the lighthouse as well. Was really bummed about he closure of all the national parks... but then ran into a Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico. Feeling better now Color is in the air by Neo - nimajus, on Flickr Shapes and Colors by Neo - nimajus, on Flickr

Been lurking and not really posting much here but it's amazing to see everyone progressing and making more and more impressive shots, love it! I've been getting heavily involved in developing a lot of black and white film both 35mm and 120! The only real reason I've picked up my D3100 is to "scan" the negatives Also I did some major repair/restoration work on a pretty damn old vintage camera, a Zeiss Ikoflex iia which I posted up here earlier - took the whole shutter assembly apart to clean off the filthy shutter leaves and re-assembled it succesfully click here to see the process! Unfortunately I have no method at the moment to scan the 120 negatives but it won't be long until they're up on flickr! Thought i'd just pick a few of my favourites over the last month or two and share them here! Finally, got my first 'explore' on Flickr a few weeks back, pretty chuffed with that! time to start developing... by dan-morris, on Flickr selfie by dan-morris, on Flickr content by dan-morris, on Flickr hidden by dan-morris, on Flickr fresh by dan-morris, on Flickr percipitation I by dan-morris, on Flickr EXPLORED: attentive [explore] by dan-morris, on Flickr hide and seek by dan-morris, on Flickr
what's up with the edge of the branch in the bottom right? shame the focus is a smidgen off but a fantastic shot nonetheless!
Yes, shame, ever so slightly off.. Hmm, not sure about the branch, funny never noticed it before.. Camera behind weird? Time for a new one maybe
What size are you using? I've got a negative scanner here I'd be happy to break out for you if you want.
