Do you even know what steam-punk is?

Since when does a high gloss "Boy Racer" of a case fit into the genre of anachronistic neo-victorian retro-futurism that is 'steam punk'.

You can define steampunk in many ways (Stick a cog on it !) but not like this.

(I don't think it's diesel punk either, but it's closer to that than steam-punk).

If the chassis roof and chimney funnels were finished in pseudo boiler plating it might be a little closer to the mark. I still think they took a nose dive out of the fugly tree though.

Do you know if it can be expanded to the graphics card like the Swifttech H220?

Personally I have no idea but Bit-Tech did mention that there are a lot of exciting things coming from them that they can't talk about right now, so maybe there is something. The reason I would still (at the moment) look to mod a Corsair AIO is because you can use their new cooling adapter (HG10) for that exact purpose.

The adapter doesn't require any mods.. It just lets you stick the AIO onto the GPU as if it were a CPU! :thumb: That Rajintech (I cannot remember the spelling, will edit when I can see it again) AIO looks like it can be extended to fit a dedicated GPU block! (which'd be more efficient)

The only thing i'm not sure about.. Is where the pump actually is! Hopefully in the CPU block (or external), not in the rad!

I meant I would mod the AIO with clear tubes and alternative fluid and then use it with the HG10.

Going on the pictures, i think the pump is in the block. I can't make out the pump, but there is a 3 pin header cable going into the block so i guess that is to power the pump.

Here's hoping.. Because if it is, they potentially have a customer right here! :thumb: Especially since I want to add in a 750Ti into my loop (makes moar silent! :hehe:) and it'd be a nightmare with the pump in the H60..
I was looking at a CoolerMaster Eisberg, but the pump/CPU block is £80/90 on OCUK! If this is only £70 for the lot.. Sold!

@SchizoFrog, go for it! :thumb: But remember, pics or it didn't happen! ;)

A cheesy attempt (IMHO) at a steampunk case mod.

    - Usless cogs? Check
    - Cheap generic plumbing supplies? Check
    - Faux chimneys? Check
    - Plastic painted to appear metallic? Check
    - Plastic painted to appear wooden? Check

Google "Telecalculograph Mk II" if you want to see someone do a better job with 'steam punk' or have a look at some of the handiwork of Jake Von Slatt or look at (Datamancer) Richard Nagy's keyboards

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the "throw some cogs at it" approach either.

Still, each to his or her own.

That yellow case.. It's horrible, but the perfect starting point for a Tyhranid
    Warhammer 40K monster race
themed case mod! What with the roof having those vent ports and the vents at the bottom of the front.. ;)

I like the look of the Ranjintek Atlas and the Antec ISK600M.

Was thinking of the TJ08 but the Atlas may appeal over that...

It's the most intriguing item in the day 1 round-up for me - I'd dearly like to see if their performance claims are justified, especially considering the rather skinny-looking fans on show. Thin, high blade count fans aren't exactly renowned for static pressure and are generally pants when strapped to a rad.
