I caved and bought Deadlight. I didn't want to buy anything but I'd forgotten about Deadlight until it popped up for £1.99.

Indeed. I've had an hour on it and it's very much like Flashback and Another World, from way back. It makes a nice change from the L4D-type zombie slaughter-fests.

Bought some GTA games and Arma II last night, and that is it for me since I have spent all my spare money now until payday.

Picked up just 2 more items after MAIA, Payday 2 at less than 5 quid and broken age for just over 6 quid. So 22 quid in all but happy with what I got.

I had a few quid left in my steam wallet, so I've finally bought Skyrim. Still not entirely sure why, because Oblivion bored me to tears, but it's worth a punt at £2.49.

It'll sit in the unplayed list for a few weeks yet, but I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually. I have about 25-30 unplayed games in my library and probably another 15-20 that I've had an hour or two on and never picked up again.

Also picked up Skyrim for £2.49, along with a Marvel Heroes hero pack for £14.99, 50% off on top of the saving the pack already gives you.

Oblivion was awful, Skyrim is much better. I'm regretting not getting Skyrim in the sale (have it on Xbox) after seeing the Skywind mod.

I wouldn't be so impressed. Most of these Big, world overhaul mods are never finished and are basically scraped when the next game is released, and then the vicious circle continues.

The only big world mod that ever wowed me was Nehrim for oblivion. It was essentially a different game altogether.

Also, your avatar is awesome, I don't see anyone who ever talks about Blame! anymore.

There's so, so much I've yet to learn about the game but I'm loving Skyim so far. I find it's so absorbing that playing it feels the same as getting lost in a really good book and time flies by. It's just incredible.

For less than the price of a cup of coffee you got an incredible amount of content. I remember playing Fallout 3 which was the first RPG I'd played in 15 years, and just falling in love with the concept all over again.

Yes, it's the best two and a half quid I've spent in a long time.

    :hehe: It's a Dragonborn thing.

Now I'm trying to decide which direction my character should go. I'm tempted to progress with the main quest and kill stuff (I'm still at Whiterun at the moment) but part of me thinks I should explore, mine and smith for a while, and maybe make a load of potions too. Or maybe just paddle in the river after a few ales. :)

I wasn't so sure about buying Dishonored and I'm glad I did, as it's fantastic. Looking forward to the Bioshock trilogy now..

I was going to get the first two in the sale but had already spent my allotted money, :D

    Infinite is superb though.

They're normally on Kinguin around £3-£5.
