Pretty minor in the grand scheme of things -

Essentially had to deal with rude eedjits and taste crap beer, coffee and whisky in the name of 'research'...

Pro tip - if you're trying to flog your beer... Don't tell me it's pissy weak, nowty and that you couldn't/didn't bottle it properly...

My dumb self overloaded my washer and it flooded.. Thankfully it's not too much.. But now I have to do another f**king load of soiled towels that I had to use to dry the flood due to my stupidity!

Attempted to do another load and it's leaking again.. I hate this stupid machine.

I went back to the garage this morning, the guy said 'This stuff dry so quick'... Yeah sure whatever. He don't do the job and then lie to me in my face, last time I go there.

Our Durango is gonna have to be towed and looked at, it stalls if you press the gas in drive, though you can drive all over creation in reverse. Transmission is 230000 miles and counting. Yes, we maintained it religiously, but apparently they tend to die after 85k according to our favorite technician.

    Cancer...

My wife had been fighting breast cancer for a year ( diagnosed november 2013: chemo (didn't work), another chemo (didn't work), amputation, radiotherapy, and even more chemo..

    now.
    it has spread. ****.

didn't plan this,.. we were supposed to grow old together.. We've got a 5 year old daughter, and an almost 2 year old son... I don't want them to loose their mother.

now, new chemo, hopefully will slow down the process... but as previous chemotheraphy didn't catch on,... there's little chance.

That's terrible news, stay strong and optimistic and make every moment count as best you can.

We'll be praying for you, sjamppo. I'm sure you don't mind the thoughts, even if you're not a person of faith.

So sorry to hear that, sjamppo. There aren't really any words that are sufficient, but try to stay positive and strong. It probably doesn't mean much, but my thoughts are with you.

Such horrible news sjamppo, stay strong

For me (however trivial) is again... money. Making ends meet is really stressing me out now. I feel like I'm drowning, I spent most of my time on ebay desperately hoping something sells.
Working any hours I can possible get (split shifts, 7 days) and applying to every possible job I can

I'm becoming so desperate I'm selling anything I no longer need in my life just to stay afloat

Paling into insignificance compared to the predicament above, but I've literally just sat down for my first gaming session in nearly 3 weeks, only to find that f***ing steam is down, and the cloud is about an hour ahead of my local save for Alien Isolation.

    :grr:

    Ah. I remember those days.

When dinner was Raman for a month.....

You're still so young and have plenty of potential. Be patient and it will all come together.

I find it kind of amusing that when you usually sit down to game, I have me hair in curlers and settling in to bed*

    *No curlers.....

I wish you and Thor the very best of luck for a straightforward experience - I'm sure it will be since I think you'll be great parents :)

Margo, make the most of it whilst you still can! I know I did...

As straight forward as 20k per child and miles of red tape it. Sure ;).

Seriously though, thank you so much. You'll be one of the first to receive updates.

I plan to be as awesome a Dad as you are to yours :)

Tripped on a loose pavement tile and smacked my face on the floor. I have a massive fat lip.

As my brother once said "I'll adopt at 17 and kick them out a year later" XD
