I cheaped out when I bought this a few months ago, and regret it now. So, so noisy.

I have a Ncase M1, so pretty much restricted to the blower styles. Is there anything that suits?

It shouldn't be noisy. The reference coolers are very quiet.

What percentage is the fan running at?

Well I don't have it set to a particular percentage, I guess its just on automatic.

I think the actual nVidia reference coolers are probably really quiet, but I have this card. I wonder if I could buy the nVidia one from somewhere?

That's the reference one with a different shroud. It shouldn't be too loud. Perhaps the fan is dodgy. :(

I remember reading a review months ago where it was pointed out that the shrouds design for the Palit GTX 970 is such that it creates a great deal of unnecessary noise. I'll see if I can find the link to the specifics.

I had one of those, I agree mine was noisier than expected.

I went full water loop and I couldn't be happier.

Hmm, I don't know if I want to go that far. I saw somebody using a NZXT AIO on theirs, maybe that could work for me.

The G10 adaptor and AIO is another choice. The 970 looks like its on the compatibility list.

Sounds great, thanks. Hopefully it all fits in.

Corsair do one as well: HG10 never used them but did contemplate it before going the full loop.
