Ill let the pictures do the talking Only 3 things left to chrome, will pick that up about Tuesday. I will however get a crack on the rest, hopefully start putting the parts in.
And those pictures certainly say somthing, alright. Dang, that is one fine finish. How tough is the chrome, does it scratch easily?
nice, I'm always accidentally scratching aluminum, and thought that might be really easy to damage. Chrome: Looks awesome and stays that way. I dont know to much about chrome, can it be done in other colours, like maybe a copperish thing? Probably not I would guess.
Thats to bad, I aways thought the freshly lapped copper heatsink look all over the outside of a case would be stunning. One could do it by hand but ...uhh to much work
you could probably find a spray paint to do a similar effect. Car paint is idea for this... go to halfords if you are in the UK they do a huge range of sprays...
The tubing is DangerDen Clearflex. Its a very complex loop but theoritcally it should work fine. NB and HDD blocks are on their own loops so they dont affect the flow rate that much. Side view. Close up of my Original White Water #92 and DD Zchip NB block Reverse side, hidden tubing going from the aquatube to the radiator in its new temporary position.(excuse finger prints) The joys of changing waterblock without removing motherboard. Heres the money shot.
I just wacked it up to 200x11 (2.2ghz) on 1.5v and im getting temps of 36c without radfan. Anyway here are the pics.
