Does anybody have any experience with any data recovery firms in the UK? I've an external 2.5" HDD of a friends here that got knocked off her desk, no detection in windows or linux, looks as though something on the PCB has died or the motor as it doesn't spin up at all. She has valuable information on there that she would pay to be recovered but I've always been able to recover data myself, unfortunately this time it looks like its a data recovery center job, the 2.5" HDD is weird, stripped it out of the enclosure and it doesn't have a sata connector, just the USB.
