I bought this amp on Ebay.

I wanted it plain like that. Any way, it's arrived and it looks like this -

I really don't like that "Clover Classical Amp" thing. I want it gone, but I don't want to remove the finish on the alu. I really CBA taking it all apart and repainting the front etc.

    Any ideas guys?

have you got a picture closer up dude? is it definitely screen printed?

Tbh, alcohol would probably take it off without damaging the metal, rub the same way as the brushing though.

Don't have a close up sorry. I do have some alcohol, might try that in a minute. I assume the next step would be acetone?

    Alcohol didn't touch it.

I've used paint stripper on black anodised aluminium in the past. The trick is to leave it on just long enough to take the lettering off. I used the old paint stripper and I think it took less than 2 minutes. The new emasculated paint stripper may take up to 100 times as long (slight exaggeration for effect).

Yeah I'm sure nitromors wouldn't mess around lmao. So yeah, tried alcohol didn't work. Then I tried acetone free nail polish remover and that didn't work either.

Little bit of rubbing compound will do the trick , t-cut is the brand i am thinking of but its not that
its creamy white, in a bright orange bottle usually ,you just need a drop on a cloth for that.
any paint shops about your way

Old thread I know, but can the OP tell us what actually worked in the end - assuming you had success?

Also, would you recommend the amp?

    Cheers!
