I'll see you again... -------------------------------------------------- Time for a update, eh Today I worked on removing the top and bottom of the case from the frame, by drilling out the rivets. And thats the finished result. Since I had never drilled out rivets before, I learned a few things. At first I used a size too small drill bit and that made things a lot harder - bumped up a notch and they came out very easily (I only wish I had used the bigger one for more of the rivets, Doh!) Finally got the riveter in the mail from harbour freight (they sent the wrong thing the first time, so it took forever to get here) I've never used a riveter as well haha, so it'll definately be a learning experiance (albiet not so hard haha) I guess since i've had such a lack of updates, I should probally give away a small secret that isnt completed yet. For the case's side panel door latches I wanted to give it a feeling of link's boots (you know, brown, with a gold buckle). During summer/fall I had this idea, and since it wouldnt be hard to do outside of the other painting, I took care of painting them brown I just need to get a gold paint pen (maybe? or maybe some of the testors model paint, i'm still sort of deciding - what do you guys think would work better?) and finish off the buckle - but I think they'll look awesome, and the paintjob turned out very nice, with much better color than the picture shows it as Allrighty, thats all i have for this update - I hope to have another one soon, there's a few more things I can do indoors

great case about the paint, use testors, the gold should coveer in 1 or 2 coats and it has a real good color. it paints on real nice cuz its a thick paint and it flows good. but thats my $.02 keep up the good work -glenn

Well since i dont live in israel, i dont have a concistant temprature of hot haha, but really, the weather here in michigan has been preventing me from painting, as seen in the picture of the cracked paint on the drive cage updates will come slowly but surely untill the spring Thanks for the input guys
that drive cage doesn't look like cold weather damage but more like what happens when you mix 2 different types of spray paint. happened on my last project. Anyways keep up the good work.. I think I'll spend a lil time on my case today.

Saria awakens as a Sage and adds her power to yours!) ----------------------------------------------------- Alright, time for a small update - its been too long not to do one I just got a new mouse, an Microsoft Intelli-Mouse Optical. I chose it for the price, back/forward buttons, and modability, beige is nice to work with. I plugged it in for about 5 minutes to test, and then it was immediately taken apart haha. I'm probally going to swap the leds out with a different color, but the shell is what i've been thinking most of. I have two color combos in mind, so i photochopped up examples Black with green green with black What do you guys think would look better? Also, anyone know of a good place to get stickers/decals on the web? I only need a few done, one being for the triforce i chopped onto the mouse, and a few other case related. another reason for the stickers/decals would be for the underside of the mouse like a life meter , with just the white part, the red part of the heart would be clear, so you could see the red underneath. *thumbs up* thats all I have for this update, unfortunatly but eh, it's better than nothing haha
Definetly the black mouse! I suppose you could always just print out the logos onto sticker paper and put varnish over the top, if you can't find somewhere to do them for you.
