The usual bah humbug from me. On the bright side, I've relocated to South Texas and I'm enjoying a breakfast beer in +27C weather instead of -27C weather.
Merry Christmas, everyone. I fear what Christmas will be like when the generation that can cook is gone. @play_boy_2000 - Can I have your place in Calgary? Everywhere else seems to be emptying into Texas.
Cooking is overrated imo; I'm quite happy surviving on sandwiches, fruit and canned foods (oh, and beer, lots of beer). In addition to not wanting a mentally unstable person in my home (who in their right mind would willingly choose to suffer -27C ), all the Polybutylene water pipes are being torn out while I'm away, so probably not the best place to stay, unless you like inhaling drywall dust and not having running water.
* Raises hand * Skiing stops being fun below -10 but -27 is lovely (so long as you have somewhere to go to with a log fire and cooked meats )
Who do you think I am? Just kidding, though. I've been here too long. I go into hibernation mode in weather below 70F. Also: This year's gag gift.
