Got a got of a dodgy situation with the landlord to one of our shops. He is trying to get us out and I think he's been using his key to wander in at night at least once. I was hoping to get something basic, I don't need to store months of video or do anything too complex and would like to keep in fairly cheap. In any case we could do with a camera to see when the the staff are getting overrun and need a bit of help on busy days in the summer. However I'm fairy lost in piles of product our there. Has anyone got any experience with this? Thanks in advance...
Sorry to hear that, as a responsible commercial landlord I am not impressed Not sure what's on the 'Rainforest' now, but a couple of indoor (Cue) & outdoor (looc) cameras by Imou have worked fine for us. One Looc survived a sabotage attempt and carried on filming after being hit off its wall mount...
Thanks. Might do, could probably work free for what need, at least initially. My only caveat is that they seem keep to hide the subscription costs on their site
Or if you have WiFi the blink cameras from amazon can be got really cheaply and would give you the evidence you need.
Yep, I have wifi (actually that was the shop where I sorted out three segregated networks!) It's not so much evidence for any official thing, just want to know what the hell is going on!
We've got one of the Yale Wifi Ip Cameras, decent quality and not too expensive, got one for my boss too after he saw ours. Even cheaper at the moment on amazon with black friday https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yale-SV-DA...93&sprefix=yale+security+camera,aps,83&sr=8-3
I decided to try out a Blink for now and see. But I might try and look a bit deeper at what would work for multiple locations. Just being able to see live video of the four shops would be nice to get a better sense of how the day is going aside from any security concerns.
