    Hey I love my apples :p and if they were giving away free G4's or G5's I would wait cause I am poor and Macs are expenzive but Reliable

    in Dallas, there was a CompUSA that had a grand opening which gave away 10 free PCs, 50X 250gig hard drives, RAM, ect ect and the line was only 2 blocks. crazy japanese! :p

    :eeek: Granted.. Apple comps are supposed to be good and all... but... I think that I'd have to agree with Dad. Even IF they were giving away free computers I'd never wait that long. Hell I hate standing in long lines to get into concerts. But then I paid to get into said concerts so I wasn't going to miss anything. hehehe
    I was like bHawk.. couldn't sit through the whole thing so I pushwed the little fast forward button till it got to the end.. Saw the caption "1000 from the top" and thought these people are stupid. wait it out. It's not like the store is only open for one day ya know... :lol:

    Maybe it was the Queue for the returns department :)

    I love the way they queue over the road crossings too with guards keeping them out the roads :)

    I wonder if they expected such a long line?
    It'd be cool if they had some photo from a helicopter or something with the whole line on it, it'd give a more realistic impression of how long the line really is.

    What were they actually queing for? If they want to buy stuff, I don't see how apple can serve that many customers in one day, or even have that much stock. And if they did want to buy stuff, have they never heard of the online apple store? :rolleyes:

    If they were giving stuff away then I can understand it but there's no way they'd have enough to give 2000 people. If you ask me they were just trying to break the record for the longest queue and just happened to start at apple.

    By the way, did anyone ever see the queue move? :worried:

    PS: I also take this as definitive proof that the japanese really are all insane.

    Jez the line for the world's largest gangbang weren't that long and aty least on that your got something at the end of it ;)
    Mind you I see a few jap students and about 60% have macs so they are popular there.
