That really does sound like the cold/warm boot issue with the DFI tbh... either that or the bios has smoked itself from the OC....

Carbon - exactly the same thing happened to my board - but due to a power cut while in bios. Never had any probs that bad while o/cing but I was using the 1/21 bios.

They RMA'd mine fine as well last weekend, they must've dropped that price in the last week. You should have had a refund and then bought another...

BigZ - Get down to PC world and get yourself a nice cheap replacement ;)

Well I'm very happy with my SP-97, and the numbers do show that it's better than the SLK, but it depends whether you think the performance difference is worth a tenner...

Well I just vmodded my 8RDA+ (vdd mod) and gained 14MHz FSB...;) Try it guys, you might like it! I reckon my vDIMM is holding me back on the board now though, it maxes out at 2.9v (2.86 real) which isn't much for BH-6. And the vDIMM mod involves cutting traces and soldering two VRs... :eeek:

I hate to admit it, but it cost me about £52 inc shipping (i.e. me driving to notts and back) rather than about £55 plus shipping. So it saved me money and got me outta the house for a few hours :p

w00t dont break this one m8... Although doubt PC world would notice if you returned it tbh... just paint any mosfet sinks black, and use red wire...
Does she seem to be clocking better than your old one?
