Meh..... I won't go into details but here are some pics for you to cringe at. Right corner, swerved to avoid padestrian, braked, up grass verge, thrown off, bang.

Nothing that can't be fixed, and I'm fine which is lucky.

I saw a car change lanes right in front of a motorcycle. He braked but still took off her side mirror.

All because there was some warning to call the police if you see a particular vehicle.

The fairings gonna be expensive...good advert for mushrooms (got my first full size bike in January, crashed on a wet Friday 4 weeks ago, and its still in the garage because every other biker did the same thing...)

So long as you walked away everything else is fixable... :thumb:

Yea, I'm absolutely fine. A bit stiff and a couple of bruises and friction burns but that's a damn sight better than having to pick gravel out of my leg for weeks. Without my leathers, my hip and elbow would have been shredded to the bone.

I used to love mucking about on my trials bikes years ago
But was always too scared to get a road bike, too worried about how unpredictable other drivers were.

Why do people not wear leathers? Damn stupid. Having said that, cyclists reach speeds of 30 mph and (myself included) wear no body protection, which is a bit stupid too...

I have been mocked at wearing a full £400 leather suit with armour for my bike, since it is only 125. Seeing as it will do just over a ton, and 2-stroke bikes nowadays are a lot faster than they used to be, I think I'd rather wear them. 125cc or 1000cc, you fall off at 50mph, you're going to do the same damage to yourself.

Glad you're OK ouij ... Looks like a lowside yea? And is that a small dink i see in the tank? bummer if it is :(

Good job it wasnt a highside .... they really smart. I havnt ridden for a few years but i had my fair share of crashes, mostly my fault, but the number of cars that tried to knock me off (especially one volvo driver in particular - deffinately on purpose but i got my own back after checking my pants for stains) its just scarey.

fivecheebs, as I went along the grass verge and hit the mound I was thrown off the top of the bike. As I rolled along the road and banged my head, all I could hear was the bike landing on its side and sliding across the road. Took me a few seconds to get back up again, then it was all about the bike and the damage.

Yes, Phase. Superb bike for a 125. Will do over a ton de-restricted and there's so much you can do to them.

Glad you ended up ok dude. Bike crashes can get nasty.

Here's what I ended up with after bouncing a Fireblade off a car last year. After the impact, the bike and I parted company, and it went underneath a second car. :wallbash:
