    This peice of software isn't needed, it's as simple as that. Even if MS got it spot on i'd still be using MythTV or Freevo or another open-source PVR/media suite. Tons more features and hardware support, and absolutley free. What more do you want?

    Maybe some people don't want to run Linux. I've heard enough people moaning about how difficult Myth is to set up, and the lack of European EPG.

    You say ATI don't offer a dual tuner option in the UK? I thought you'd been able to do that for the last few generations of AIW, you just need another tuner card?

    You need a TV Wonder VE, which was never sold in PAL (officially). It was NTSC only.

    Actually, I use Showshifter www.showshifter.com but the built-in EPG requires XMLTV and can be quite unreliable.

    I ordered MCE 2005 from newegg (and posted about it somewhere here iirc).

    Unfortinately they have had a small problem at their shipping center and my order has been delayed :(

    Tis nice that they listened to the user who didn't want to buy a crap machine just to get media center edition :thumb:

    Now if they would just listen to the thousands of people asking for proper png support to be implimented in IE...

    I'm sure lots of people would appreciate a single, familiar program to support their HTPC, and that's the market they're aiming for.
