How would I be able to turn on my PC using a simple radio transmitter to turn on a PC? I think I've seen a wireless remote set used to turn a PC before, but it used the power connectors, not the LED.

I'm a modding n00b (See below :D ), so please try to make it simple :baby:

    thx

It would be handy to power the receiver directly from the reset/power inputs. I have not seen any specs on these input. I think they are TTL level, so pulling them down to 1.4V won't hurt, but what current should be available at that voltage level? I once measured about 2mA, but is there a standard? ATX Rev. 2.1 only talks about a pull up resistor to +5V.

I thought about using this http://www.micrel.com/_PDF/mic2141.pdf to charge a gold capacitor from the reset input (at low current so it doesn't cause reset). Then the receiver can operate from the gold cap and short out the reset input for a moment to trigger the reset.
