    Yea I know.
Well for now that is an only solution I have.
Will need to make a hard choose on xmass.
I was thinking to get a 19’ LCD or 2 17’, but now looks like I will need to shop for a new video card.
Ou well will go drop off couple resumes may be will get some extra part time job.
Will be able to get x800 in a month or so.

Well yes it was my stupid ass did a sleeving a replaced all connectors.
How much I know they are 12v-ground-ground-5v.
So that is how I connected them.
Do one thing I messed up 12 with 5 and that is what killed it.
I’m looking for schematics now to se may be there is any protection as fuse on the card witch burned up so I can resoder it.

The worst i've done near that before was sleeving an atx lead; the part that goes black-red-black-red-black i had wired as black-red-red-black-black. Woulda been painful. Moral of the story double (AT LEAST) check your work.

Unlucky, i'm sure if you stick the stock heatsink you'll get an RMA no problem, accidents do happen, i managed to do that with a HDD ;)

Get 2x 17" monitors... 19" monitors only support 1280x1024 (what most 17"'s do) so with 2 17" monitors you're getting 2x the viewing space.

Anyways, bad news dude... hopefully you get it fixed quick :)

Well you see I did not only a sleeving but I did change all connectors.
Those *******s have no indicators witch side is what so that is the reason I *uckt up.
And about plugging them all in I have done that so many times that I watch TV and do that all on touch ;)

I would still try to RMA everything: I did this the first time I tried to sleeve a psu. Lost 2 hard drives, a CD-RW, and a DVD-RW (don't ask...long story...). Sony/Western Digital ended up accepting everything for RMA's, so in the end, I came out alright. I would call ATi and see if you can't get the card RMA'd, just give them the serial number and such, don't tell them what happened, how it happened, or when you bought it. Simply tell them it doesn't work...tis the truth alright. Most of the time they will RMA. Try that with the HDD's too, depending on the brand and age. Best of luck, hope everything comes out :thumb:
