Modding I need a window design

I cant think, my new chieftec full tower (in silver, i guess the black and silver are now outta stock) should arrive tomorow and i cant think of a window idea

I can make a regular square window, but i kinda wanna keep the side panel fan since i dont have a hole saw to cut a hole in the window, and i will probly crack the window with my dremel so i dunno

I dont really wanna make a square window since everyone has one, i want somethin different, that shows alot of the computer

Anyone with ideas, can you take this pic, in photo shop



and put this pic on top



and make a design. By using the eraser you erase the side panel and can see the insides, heres the square one i made



But man that would take a big ass piece of acrylic so i dunno

The best thing about modding is coming up with an idea yourself in the first place. People are hardly gonna be impressed by an idea they themselves suggested.

For the sake of being different, whether I think it is a good idea or not, I suggest a giant great comedy *****. There, nobody has done that before. I can supply an outline if need be (though I'm sure If you look in any high school text book you will find countless examples)...

First we have this freeking crazy carrot dude...



And then we have the "?" window! You could theme your entire case with "?"'s!
(lol, that would rock)


(the black is metal of course. I was just showing that you could paint the metal around the cut to show it off more or something...)

Nitro_APBT do you have a picture of the girl you used on the case, that i could use as a template? possibly a silhouette?

whats the cheapest place to get acrylic, and how thick should it be? and how do you cut it?

should i just take the acylic from my raidmax scorpio 868?

 

this is something i plan on doing to a case when i actually get afford the tools etc....infact i like that case.....lol but ya. if you spend some times working with a the lighting this side panel could be a cool idea....in my opinion atleast.

 

phantomxc, that looks good..but if you're dremelling it, then that could take you ages to do. Unless you have a free laser cutting equipment lying around?

 

actually....no....i dont even have a dremel lol. I have a hammer and a flathead ? lol
