    Hi! I'm new here, but I've been lurking for a while. I've had a worklog going for a while that you can see here Project:Blackfire

    So here's the problem. Do I finish the acrylic case or do I build the raidmax? I'm not getting the feedback at Gruntville so I was hoping you would give your opinions. Here are the choices:

    A.

    I think that the plexicase is mush more cool. Isn't possibol to fix the problem ?

    It is, and its not that hard. Plus, now that they've sent me replacement parts for what was defective its even more tempting. Its just been very frustrating.

    Actually, UV orange. The effect is really nice with UV light.

    Keep the Plexi. It looks absolutely amazing, and like you said, you've already got all the parts to finish it.

    I'm not a fan of Plexi cases, but damn, that case looks HOT!

    That plexi case is just way to cool to stop. I think you should give it another go. Keep up the wicked cool work!

    I haven't gotten home to inspect it yet, and I'm dying! Still got half an hour till I get off work, and ya, I'm working real hard :)

    taedir i have a passing second cousin... his last wishes were to continue the plexi case... i think its for the best if you do that :)

    Well, I got a chance to check out the package from ACRyan tonight. I got two replacement UV ccfls, two blue UV sleeving kits and two replacement plexi panels. The panels are perfect! And they are the totally wrong panels! Instead of sending me the side panel, I got the two center panels that hold the drives! I can't say I'm surprised :duh:

    You should try connecting the hdd activity led to some other leds and mount them into the orange flame plexi. So when ur pc hdd led is blinking and doing stuff, the flames light up ... What do you think?

    Finish A!!

    When those panels light up, its gonna be killer.

    What a bummer. Do they know you are letting everyone know what complete idiots they are? :wallbash: You should email them a link to this thread and the one on the other site. They should send you a brand new case!

    How bad are the panels? Can you make it work, or are they that bad?
