The same way you added the flag initially. Close the client, open the properties of the client shotcut, and replace "-smp" with "-smp 3".

Not necessarily correct. If you're using GPU3 on a non-Fermi GPU, and have the -advmethods flag enabled, there are new WUs, which give better PPD. ;)
