British property law says that the recipient of a 'personal gift' is the legal owner of it, and can do what they want with it.

Mine would be sold in a heartbeat.

It's like a unicorn or something. Or a flying pig.

Nexxo, I think your G1 took on the shape of a unicorn for a second either that or a mix of fergie and jesus.

When I first read this title i thought... "they gave them f****ing planes????"

In 99+% of the companies I have worked for - bonus turns out to be two words.

Let's see. Instead of getting a bonus, the employee gets to provide free advertising for Google. Hmm, somehow that just doesn't seem quite like the same thing to me :)

Do you think the employees are entitled to complain? A free G1 is better than nothing, and I think google is probably in the minority of companies who do bother with xmas bonuses.

Hum, not sure I want my company giving me a phone for Christmas. Especially if they know the number. I think its their ploy to be able to call the employees at anytime, even after normal work hours. I have a blackberry, but there is no way in hell I will give my bosses the number to it.
