If these i5 things actually offer something over my overclocked q6600, i'm game. I'd bag a DFI board just for the epic colours.

Looks like a really good, well thought-out board. I just hope the firmware's solid.

Death to the floppy port at least. And who really wants the on-chip GPU features anyway eh? Unless there's some hybrid-SLI-esque system coming from Intel with the Larabee cards, I would imagine 99% of people would just snub it for an AMD/Nvidia card at this price grade.

It's more likely that P53, or P55e chipsets will make better use of the on-chip GPU stuff. Particularly if it's going into Flex/Mini-ITX formats. :)

None of them. they all still have FDD, IDE and ps2. I like the layout but all the latest mobo's have this type of layout

Everyone of them will, because Asian, South American and Eastern European countries still ask for them in mainstream parts.

I can't believe I actually missed the FDD port. Nice place to put it though.

how's DFI's fan controls in the BIOS?? how does it compare to Abit's uGuru menu?

the layout of that board is perfect, my next upgrade will probably be i5 with that exact P55 if we see more than 20% improvement from q9450's
