PSP is not really the best choice for a beat-em-up style game. I've tried a couple now (admittedly on the 1st gen PSP) and the dpad is far too annoying. Saying that though, the 360's dpad is just as bad, but at least you've got the option of getting a proper joystick (even if it is 3rd party) to play them.

shame too, as I'm a bit of a fan of the FF series.

It's a lot more freeroaming than a normal beat-em-up though, which perhaps isn't communicated awfully well because it's an interview rather than a preview. It's a big arena that you can run around in.

Just give us a new FF RPG please, for the PC. :)

On a side note, I'll be down at the Dorchester in London next week for a meeting too.

    Was that Zidane vs. Sephiroth?

I may just buy a PSP then.

    This
    and this
Is exactly what developers need to stick too.

I will be looking forward to another FF game on the PSP. It's just too bad I don't know anyone else that likes FF who has a PSP.

Wait... wait... I can play as Sephiroth? And Squall?

I wasn't gonna bother with this game... now, however... it's on my must buy list. ;)
