It seems odd that it's just the English-speaking Big Four. What about other Western countries like Germany our France? Or are they hiding behind the Four's refusal?

Germany would like to institute a chip In you ID card (like for online banking) that you have to use to access the Internet and that idea is already 3-4 years old.....

The UK would like to institute a chip in our brains. Whenever you go shopping you just swipe your head across the laser and it automatically charges your bank account, and if you try to buy any alcohol or cakes an alarm goes off and it's confiscated because it's bad for you and costs the NHS too much. And any food with fat or sugar you immediately get charged an extra 'obesity tax'. And to use the internet you have to again scan the chip in your brain and it allocates you a 5 minute internet session per day (to promote productivity in the workplace) and you are restricted only to sanctioned websites - BBC, and Ebay. Porn is strictly forbidden and so is Amazon because they don't pay tax. And if you try to search for anything naughty the net is cut off and the police show up and beat you with a stick.

The only reason they don't do this is because they know everyone would just put on a hoodie and storm parliament and everything would be ransacked and looted and any MP's in there would get bummed.

And that is how democracy works.

Well I can tell you aren't in the UK. There is no way the brain chip would let you post that.

You just have to wear a tin foil hat. But I hear the new firmware will make the signal stronger. The only solution is to :wallbash:

Or move to China for the more relaxed government :worried:

I think you are giving our government too much credit. Anything even as remotely interesting as that would be blocked by one of the other parties. Not because they genuinely oppose the plan, just because they can. Next election they can call them ineffective and it goes round again. Only when no one is interested does anything happen in our government. That's why we will stagnate to ruin one day in the distant future. Complete inability to make an important decision that is not forced upon them.

Lol. Oh and you're a petrol head! I forgot to say that if you drive over 40 mph the chip makes your head explode. And you are still fined £200 and 3 points.

Oh that's why I hear a bang at least 4 times a day. Not received a fine yet though.

The name is based on my profession. I do deal with more diesels but at the time it seemed appropriate. I would never have thought to use what my youngest calls Dolphins. He is only 11 months bless him.
