    Big shame with this new version, I have the RV02 and love it, love the fact that the board is rotated, makes much more sense to me and I have had no issues with the heat of my system. I was going to buy a new PC in a month or 2 and when I saw this article I thought I might have to get a new case too. but now I don't think I will bother, the RV02 is great and Silverstone have gone backwards in case design since.

    Agreed. It's most definitely fugly.
    It's a shame they didn't continue that trend when they decided to price it.

    Fugly case, and what does rotating the board achieve exactly in terms of cooling benefit? There always was an argument that the vertical cooling set up was more efficient, but this seems to be trying to be different just for the sake of it.

    Quite. It's almost like some one at Silverstone was told to wreck the looks, wreck the layout and charge stupid money for it.

    It's hardly 'fugly' when compared against the likes of the Antec GX700, the Cooler Master Storm Scout Advanced (jeese, what a mouthful), and the In Win GT1 just to name a few. It does look woefully put together though and at the price is far below Silverstones normal standards.

    RV02 Rocks

    I got the RV02 and it rocks. I totally dig the rotated motherboard, makes the Raven RV02 feel unique. RV03 may be good but RV04 is just not good enough for me :(
