Curved surface is a great addition to the 21:9. I hope that the price won't be too dear. Currently working on 2x 5:4 19" screens and a 34" 21:9 would be a nice replacement, as long as it is not flat :D

A very interesting monitor option, not as heavy weight as 4K but gives the extra width I'd appreciate.

It is taking all my energy to resist buying the DK2 version of the oculus and wait for the improved commercial version

I personally prefer the look of the LG version and from this picture has even thinner bezels.

hard to tell, but my Dell U2913WM monitors have next to no bezel, which looks fantastic... when they're switched off, cos they have roughly 10-12mm of the sides & top where there are no pixels, so switched on it looks like theres a sizeable bezel. Having 3 of them, i bought them thinking i'd almost get a completely seemless span of pixels, as the specs said the bezel was tiny. In reality, theres about 28mm between pixels stopping and restarting.

I wonder if the LG & Dell are just like this, and its not a plastic bezel you can see in the Dell photo, its just unused space, and you wouldnt be able to tell from the LG screen as its off. Seems likely if its true they use LG panels.

    Do want.

As long as the price isn't insane one of these will definitely be my next monitor upgrade. I've been hankering after a 21:9 for quite some time and this seems like a good time and option to take.

If bezels are your concern then here are 3 of the LGs ;)

Even those stands look so much better than the Dell.

    I regret buying 3 Dell's now :(

Having used a 21:9 res monitor since they were first released, I'm all for the increased resolution and the curve is just a bonus; I'll be keeping my eye on this one for sure.

At least you got 3 Dell's, I now have to hide my one lonely Asus 29" 21:9 in shame, despite still smelling like factory:(

Am I the only person in the (bit-tech) world that still uses a single non-ultrawide monitor? I work on a cheapy-cheap Philips 1920x1200 with a broken power button...

    Single Eizo 5:4 17" 1280 x 1024 at home, Dual Eizo 5:4 19" 1280 x 1024 at work ... Battle! Hunting for a replacement though.

I couldn't go back to 1 monitor; having a second is just too liberating :p
