    I find that if there's even the slightest chance of something being slightly crap, it definitely will be extremely crap.

    In the past 16 years, there have been a lot of innovations in the FPS genre that make them much more enjoyable and intuitive to play. And it would be nice to play an updated System Shock 2 with all of those innovations injected into it.

    But, if the update comes out and it sucks, well, I've still got my GOG copy kicking around, and a bad update won't make that go away.

    I missed the original but a friend loved it. Maybe this time I will get to enjoy it too.
