    But why? I must be missing something here.

    There seems to be zero point to this at all as I cannot see an effect other than getting a read out of your heart rate etc. I have never thought while playing a game 'wow my heart rate is elevated, but I wonder by how much, if only there was a really expensive way to find out, but which at the same time can never be used in any other situation as a heart monitor'.

    Maybe for research purposes there could be a point but as said the sensor is not medical grade and is prone to random fluctuations.

    Sorry for being an ass but to me this is as much of a technical achievement as putting a clock on the microwave was.

    Please, what am I missing that inspired people to spend, on average, over a ton to back this idea.
