Nice to see Antec back with a good looking and well made case. I would have liked to read a little about noise, though, low noise has always been one of the key features of an Antec case.

To be fair, the cooling and noise aspect of cases "out of the box" is almost entirely a moot point - 90% of users will replace the fans for their favourites, add a load more to boot, then fill it with components that will no doubt have very different levels of noise generation.

I really like it, even if it is a very samey to the likes of the Fractal Define, NZXT S340, Corsair 400C etc... But the thumbscrews that hold the side panel on will drive me BANANAS if the "A" logo doesn't line up perfectly vertical when tightened.

If Silverstone released a new TJ07, with the 5.25" bays replaced with a radiator support, updated connectivity and fully painted internals, I'd cut my own kidney out to buy one.

Those thumbscrews on the glass side panel make me irrationally angry. They just ruin the clean lines, and like Wakka I think I'd have to make sure that all of the "A" logos were perfectly aligned :D

Yeah, no real need for those "A" logos.

There should be a Silent version of this case coming with sound deadening fitted, based on what we saw at Computex.

This sounds a darn sight better than the P8, seems steps are at least being taken in the right direction. That lighting control is a bit of a mess though.

Without sounding like a wind bag Antec really need to stop imitating and start innovating again. The original Sonata etc were miles ahead of the competition but these days they just copy every one else :(

Remove the Antec logo and the 'A' Thumbscrews and you'd look at it and think 'that case could've been made by literally anyone'... I'm struggling to see anything new, unique or even remotely interesting about the case...

Also tempered glass side panels is the current trend I wish would naff off and die...

I think the last Antec product I genuinely liked was the Skeleton - even then, that was a Test Bench.

0.8mm thick aluminium for the outer panels? Isn't that flimsy?

The outer, front-facing part of the front panel only. The core of this panel is strong plastic, but very little is exposed thanks to the covering.

I genuinely liked the Lanboy air tbh. Again, very innovative.

Yes the Silent version will be available in December.
The glass version is available this week from UK resellers.

Small point, but I really hope other case manufacturers copy the side ejecting filter on the bottom this case employs. I rarely clean the one on my Corsair case because it’s a rear sliding one, blocked in by my cables.

Also, I can’t see a reset button on the top I/O panel - does it have one? It’s something I’d miss, as the one on my case comes in handy from time to time.
