No it isn't worth it. I'm just running DDR3 1333 OC'ed to 1600.

In all honesty past 1600 @ CAS 9, the difference isn't too large. However tighter timings do do quite a bit.

The Korean 27" are all pretty much lottery based. The difference of course is that they have very little input lag as far as IPS panels are concerned. Partially due to the lack of an OSD.

It doesn't screw up my monitor. But that's mainly due to the fact that my 2490's settings are built internally into the monitor as opposed to anything else.

F.lux never messes it up for me afaik....
