Why not get a tow hitch installed? On a 7-series they should be able to supply a removable one if you don't like the added concrete-barrier-when-reversing protection it gives.

I'm using my Pi with RaspBMC and controlling it with the Android remote Yatse. Works perfectly fine and streams uncompressed 40 gig ripped Blurays with external decoding of the DTS sound though.
