sandys usually are better clockers than ivys for various reasons. Expecting to get 4.6ghz on every chip at low voltsghs wishful thinking. Did u try ocing the cpu before running the memory at 2133?

One thing ( if it hasnt already been mentioned) your better off with low profile ram, so it doesnt get in the way of the HSF.

You have the 2 best answers there. increased volts may help as long as you can keep temps down. Ive heard theres a big drop off performance vs power consumption when going 1200mhz or more on 7 series...

PCI-E 3.0 needs an ivybridge cpu for 3.0 afaik. Wont make any difference especially with the bandwith a 660 has. Even my 7970 wont saturate PCI-E 2.0.

Thats with A10 5800k, 4GB 1600mhz ram 500GB HDD (1TB was £7 more) a gigabyte A75 chipset motherboard and a corsair CX430 psu.

Ive got 5 M4s running in various machines, ( main pc, HTPC, laptop) and have had zero issues. Easy to update firmware which isnt destructive and great performance in both sata 2 and 3 configs....
