I'm certainly not the best to advise on hardware but went from a very similar system a couple of months back so can relate. The hardest bit was getting rid of that lovely RAM (I had the 4x2GB kit).

Very pleased so far, I went for the Asus Strix. Surprised how quiet it is compared to the 460. It was pushed pretty hard so the fan used to really pick up.
