Having never bought one new or 2nd hand I didn't know what to expect to be honest but it would have been nice to know in advance but this post was about it being viable to use and nothing else really.

Ok thanks

Never been 100% sure how a radiator is constructed, I'd imagine the water is in the channels the fins are connected too so any damage to the fins wouldn't cause a leak.

I've ordered a power board to see if that's the problem, it's only an 8 punt so worth the gamble, could always ebay it afterwards if it doesn't fix the problem.
