I have to say, the pipe approach over tubing...
I have to say, the pipe approach over tubing really does make it look so much better. The front panel does look a little... orange rather than red though. Tend to agree on the touchscreen fan...

Out of interest, why didn't you choose to use mitred joints for the wood? You would have had a more pleasing top panel then.
Additionally, aren't 80mm fans usually a pain to keep quiet?
