Although that Ben Whateverhisnameis guy is an utter ***** I wish him every success in the legal stuff so that he can keep the domain that is rightfully his to do whatever he pleases with.

I agree with you RTT - he even bought it before i-Tunes was launched. How can they have a leg to stand on?

Absolutely - I just cannot work out any good reason for why he should have to hand it over. There's probably something going on between Nominet and Apple that we don't know about...

I have issue with the fact that we now seem to have eminent domain laws on the net...

Screw Nominet, go Ben!

Well nominet handed to domain over to apple but the original ben something wants it back saying that nominet illegally gave it to apple and that he was the original owner.

I don't care what the situation is, no company has the right to sieze a domain name simply because it contains the name of their product. Fookin' capitalism at work again...

Seams stupid in my option. I think he should get it back no problem. What if i had a new product called the 'bit-tech' does that mean i can come along and take your domain? Its madness.

Remember MikeRowesoft.com? Doesn't contain Microsoft in it, yet MS had no troubles nabbing it off him, charging the kid for the handover fee.

Nominet are ****** up

Ben Cohen purchased the domain before iTunes even started up their service, so what gives them the right to take it off him, It is crazy that big companies think they can get away with this, I hope he wins the battle against Nominet and gets the domain back. and I wish iTunes every failure in the future. with their iPoo and the service they provide.

Long live p2p
