Xbox Live hits 2 million
Are you a Live subscriber? Do you plan to renew your subscription when it expires? What could Microsoft do to improve the service?

Actually on my xbox live account which I gave to my brother, It automatically renews the account for you unless stated otherwise. I remember seeing the bill and it saying microsoft $50 made me laugh.

Does that include all the annoying people who use those 2-month trials just to play Halo 2 with a low rank for some noob-bashing?
Not that I'm bitter or anything... (Been on Live with Halo 2 since Saturday)

Use to be an avid Xbox Live subscriber for two years. Quit because of Microsoft's/Bungie's unbelievably poor support for European gamers. If you're going to charge us the same rate as they do Americans, make sure we get an equal quality of service.
Shame really, because Xbox Live is a groundbreaking piece of technology.

I guess it depends on which game you prefer to play online - multiplayer Halo 2 holds zero attraction for me, so I'm immune to whatever problems NuTech is referring to. I wasn't planning on renewing after my first year, since I had already played a lot of PGR2 and there were no other games that interested me.
In the end, because it auto-renews, I ended up with it again, so I've been busy improving my high scores in PGR2. PGR3 online is going to be blinding - shame I'll be up for Year 3 by the time I get that far. I guess it's a bit of a stealth tax to ensure that I get to keep my preferred username.
