brilliant, i don't plan on building a new pc in a while but when I do i'll most likly be going for one of these so cheaper chips are always a good thing

Plus it sounds like it's going to be a brilliant o/c'er if it's faster on faster cores

Still too expensive IMHO! £199 would be ok i suppose. They could offer a 1.8Ghz model?

They ought to hire you for proofreading.

Cheaper is better, but this is still way too expensive. I'd still be looking at Pentium D (if I didn't hate the idea of embedded DRM). I know there's 2 cores and that it really is 2 processors in one space, and I know there's a lot of convenience, but does it have to be priced like 2 full processors?

By the way, does anyone know if they'll come out with a 940 pin version? I'd love to see dual dual-core opterons.

that reminds me, i got charged 7.9 pennies for every 100 pennies i changed up today, i got completly ripped
