brilliant, i don't plan on building a new pc in a while but when I do i'll most likly be going for one of these so cheaper chips are always a good thing

Plus it sounds like it's going to be a brilliant o/c'er if it's faster on faster cores

Hehe...way to spot it, cheap. They ought to hire you for proofreading.

Cheaper is better, but this is still way too expensive. I'd still be looking at Pentium D (if I didn't hate the idea of embedded DRM). I know there's 2 cores and that it really is 2 processors in one space, and I know there's a lot of convenience, but does it have to be priced like 2 full processors?

By the way, does anyone know if they'll come out with a 940 pin version? I'd love to see dual dual-core opterons.
