brilliant, i don't plan on building a new pc in a while but when I do i'll most likly be going for one of these so cheaper chips are always a good thing

Hehe...way to spot it, cheap.
They ought to hire you for proofreading.Cheaper is better, but this is still way too expensive. I'd still be looking at Pentium D (if I didn't hate the idea of embedded DRM). I know there's 2 cores and that it really is 2 processors in one space, and I know there's a lot of convenience, but does it have to be priced like 2 full processors? By the way, does anyone know if they'll come out with a 940 pin version? I'd love to see dual dual-core opterons.
