I think it is a great case, as a regular computer case, I think it sucks if I were to pay alienware prices for a case like that with no colors and not even a flashy vinyl. This looks too regular... for alienware.

Seems decent, those hotswap bays, if that's what they are, are a nice touch. Although I definately see some idiot pulling out C: while defragging. I still prefer Lian Li's, but it is nicer than the old one imo.

Is this based off an Antec case aswell? I know the main alienware case used to be (and may still be) based on the internals of what i have, the plusview 1000. It just had an inch of plastic surrounding it.

Yeah... I hate to say it (though I've never been that big a fan of alienware), but I think it's quite an eyesore. Particularly if it markets for more than $100 (which, come on, this is alienware). I'm not a fan of Lian-Li (gasp!) or anything, but this really just looks like something my old, old server was stored in, except for a sliding door (WTF?) and an alien on the front. Not exactly a real groundbreaker.

Frankly, I'd much rather pay $40 and get a case with character.

I agree with Da Dego, I'd rather have a case with character, then some boring square with a few vent holes (which IMHO don't match the rest of the case. if they were more boxy it might have fit in better) .

That is really UGLY, why the hell would you want to change the classic case design for something as boring as that? The old case was great, when you looked at it you KNEW it was an alienware system but this new one just sucks. And what does that mean in the review where it says "for people who like something abit more sane" wtf c'mon a jet black case with vents at the front is hardly shocking is it!

Initialy I was going to defend this case... but then I did "head over to Alienware to have a play at configuring a system" , and well this thig SUCKS... It's by far better then there... ummm space shipy kinda thing-a-ma-doodle!!! but a coolmaster, antec, lian-li it is NOT! oh yeah and the " Outrageous!" sliding door.... um it's not a sliding door Link !!!!

Its more like that thing that dell use to put on there precision workstations... You know that thing that you never could find a use for other then seeing how many hours would pass before someone snapped it off!!!
