I wish people would stop coming up with idiotic ideas such as this, there are plently of female gamers it's just that most arn't interesed in the same games as the male gamers.

Funny how much of a mixed reaction these girls get.
Seems that everybody has something to say about how they look... as if that matters! like "oh the blonde one is the only one worth looking at"
Oh so because they are women they somehow have to prove to us men that they are viable by being attractive... then you get the other end of the spectrum of people who say "oh they are only choosen for how they look"

I wish them good luck, im glad that the gaming world can be a little more varied. And good on Ubisoft too for getting the ball rolling with this sort of concept. I love the idea of software companys creating teams or at least sponsering teams to play! What a life that would be!!

The only problem with the frag dolls is that they seem to higlight just how damn moronic a large section of male gamers are... with all these comments on looks etc. As if by somehow being female makes these judgments ok. Lets just hope that female gamers don't start judging male gamers on looks too because it's going to be a masacre!

As far as i'm concerened anything that helps make gaming more accessable is a good thing.

Yes there are girls that play games.

But most of them don't like to show it in public.

Anything that can increase the kudos of the scene for anyone is good.

That was officially awful. Funny, and awful. But somehow, I bet the feeling wouldn't be reciprocated...

The sheer amount of frustrated testosterone in this thread is hilarious

It does underscore the male gamer stereotype though. Fair play to the girls, hopefully one day there won't be such a big deal made about a female clan. Fat chance though when it's computer geeks who make up most of the audience...

LOL.... All the sad blokes on the forums trying grab there attention with every post, 'hmmm il quote what she said, she might notice me then!'.

They look pretty normal, not very hot, one of the American ones was nice tho

And BTW dont argue that there looks dont matter as im sure they have got people putting a lot of cash into this and its basically because they are girls who play games and they know people will buy into it!

Wish my girlfriend played BF2 with me

Merchandise, Merchandise, Merchandise... It worked for fatality and hes a bloke

I think the big boys are actually starting to notice the money in the gaming community, give it a couple of years and people will be watching deathmatches on sunday TV like Robotwars.... bring back Gamesmaster TBH!!!!!!1111234357. Hmm, why the hell was Patrick Moore on there??

I would totally watch a all-deathmatch-all-the-time channel! Just like how our (former) digital cable package had like thirty-nine different music channels, I could go for highlights of crazy frags in all the popular games. With player's audio commentary of course...
"omfg you f***ing hack ima kill youuuu!!!! *mutter about turning hacks on* how do you like it now?!?!?!? take another headshot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111"
hehehehe I can just imagine it now. In fact I think I might have to videotape myself playing some time and try to get it on public access lol

Of course I wouldn't be caught dead getting fragged by them. Really just because I despise consoles like you can't imagine, "fragged by ch1x0r" doesn't bother me that much.

Wow! Never thought I'd see this here. Anyhow, I know of the FragDolls because of them attending LPNW's 400 Man LAN (January 2005 - Actually had another one that ended this past weekend). Anyhow, they were sponsored by Bungie and MTV. Part of the agreement (AFAIK) to being allowed to be able to shoot this MTV segment was to promote LPNW. However, as this post (sight is the head honcho) shows, it seems MTV and the Frag Dolls simply forgot about this condition by blurring out a name tag in the video (I would link it, but am not the site owner - perhaps bT can rehost the file) which happened to have our web address on it. Furthermore, in the video, one of the FragDolls claimed they were at the LAN Northwest Tournament, not the LanpartyNorthwest 400 Man LAN. To make it worse, the location was labeled as the Washington Event Center (which exists), when in fact the location is called the Everett Events Center.

This has left a bitter taste in our mouthes although some agreement has been reached for MTV to correct at least some of these errors (supposedly there were some layers working on a case against MTV on behalf of Everett Events Center so LPWN was able to drop in a few demands). What irked me the most was the FragDolls playing hackey-sack at the finale prize givaway. They kept on hitting people gathered around the stage and didnt seem to care too much.

Wow thats long! Knew they were somewhat popular, but was surprised to see this here (although it would be appropriate). My $0.02. Oh, and Bigz, PM me if interested in the clip.
