Very nice - the last mouse I liked that came out was the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 - I've been waiting for something decent to come out and this looks good.

sold!

i wanted a logitech MX1000 but i found it terribly uncomfortable
im still using an intellimouse optical at the moment, have tried others but just not a fan. This looks to be the same shape as the intellimouse optical anyway

thank god they got rid of the smooth scroll wheel, that would have been the deal-breaker

all good

The MX1000 looks like it would be more comfortable than that to me - and I do find mine extremely comfortable.

Wil, I'm taking away your austin powers DVD. For the good of us all, my friend.

Seriously, though...this looks pretty nice. I am personally a fan of the cordless mouse, but maybe their cord technology will be worth the effort? I dunno...but that's what a review is for, eh?

So many mice on the market nowadays that it's hard to choose! I just wish I could get more freaking support for my Logitech iFeel Optical mouse that I've had for 3+ years. It's force feedback, baby!

Same here... I'm tempted. Really tempted. Particularly after seeing their new ergonomic wired keyboard (the 4000FS) also.

And I have some interesting modding ideas for the cables...

Wow. That (IMHO) is a good looking mouse. I have ahd an Intellimouse Explorer for like, 3 years now and and was never a fan of the Logitech mice (though their speakers are abosultely amazing ). I want one of the new Razer Boomslangs, but maybe this might be worth the wait. Just have to see how the reviewers treat them I guess

Hm... MX518 wannabe, minus the OS-independence? Not for me, thanks.

Not as sexy as the new logitech 2.4GHz one. The silly extra lights for IM and e-mail are just that... silly. I don't look at my mouse when I'm using it.
