"Microsoft is aiming to launch in Japan, Europe and the US almost simultaneously, with no shortages of consoles"
It's not often we praise MS but good on them. Sony take note, this is how you treat your customers who buy your products.

Agreed too. But why does the states always have to have it first, why not us?

But I won't be buying the xbox anyway!

Thats pretty good. Just over a week between the US and UK release. Which is somewhat better than with other *cough* PSP *cough* consoles.

I wonder if Game is allowing preorders.....

Black Friday (also called Blitz Day), the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, is historically one of the busiest retail shopping days of the year. Many consider it the "official" beginning to the Christmas shopping season. The "black" in the name comes from the standard accounting practice of using red ink to denote negative values (i.e., losses) and black ink to denote positive values (profits). Black Friday is the day when retailers traditionally get back "in the black" after operating "in the red" for the previous months. The term may also be used by retail employees to express their antipathy towards it, as an analogy to Black Thursday as a day of general chaos..

ALL the shopping centers, department stores and malls are usually packed, so if you don't like big crowds or long lines, stay far away of those areas for a few days. However, all the stores have HUGE sales the whole weekend and change their hours. Many malls will stay open untill midnight beginning that weekend all the way to Christmas.

After Christmas the stores go back to their normal routine, so if you want to take advantage of all the sales, you need to be here before. Actually, stores have a lot of sales after Christmas too - their "After Christmas, Inventory Clearout Sale of Sales"...

Hahaha...Black friday, yes yes...usually done by marking prices UP before putting them on sale, so that the net change is generally about equal to a normal 5% sale

Also marked by some of the worst, rudest customers in the year.

Final Fantasy XI is coming to xbox 360. That is alittle late dont you think. A year after the game is released and everyone who really wants it owns it on either PS2 or PC. Not quiet sure about that. Also what is squaresoft even doing on the xbox. I remember when xbox came out they said they would never put there games on any system other then playstation or PC. Ohwell im sure there not abandoning playstation so its all cool.

Example of bad customers from my days of working at Burger King:

Guy: "Can I have one Burger King?"
Order taker: "I'm sorry sir, there's no such thing."

Guy: "I WANT THREE TOMATOES! YOU HEAR THAT?! THREE, YOU LITTLE SON OF A BITCH I'M GONNA F****** KILL YOU. THREE TOMATOES YOU ASSHOLES!" < True story

Guy: "Hi, can I have a number 3 with no pickle and extra sauce. no wait, make that number 3 a number 8 with extra pickle and no cheese...actually, take a number four, add pickle no sauce extra cheese, off the broiler, minus lettuce add tomato, no pickle extra mayo, and make it fresh! Oh! and extra lettuce!

Order taker: "Uh, could you say that again, I didn't get it all?"

Guy: "What are you, stupid?"

This list can go on and on. I can feel the pain of the Wal-Mart employees now....suckers...
