the release of the 360 will allegedly provide increased graphics quality to Halo and Halo 2.

shame the 360 wont improve the plot, gameplay or level design, am i the only person here who thinks this whole 360 thing is overated?

The Xbox 360 in total is very overrated, I mean everyone seems to forget that the launch line up is getting smaller and smaller and the games that have surrived the launch date just look like xbox games, bar PGR of course but thats a crap game anyway.

Haven't played much of the game, other than the occasional MP bouts at my friend's house, but I'd like to see this. Expecially if it's supposed to be more violent than the game. Could be interesting...

Yes the 360 is indeed overrated. I fell in the Halo 2 Hype and was VERY dissapointed. Though I'm very intrigued to playing the original with revamped graphics and the such.

thats what i thought too, but then i thought about the fact that, well the first games that come out on a consle are always c**p to say the least. graphics, gameplay, lenght, cost.... e.c.t game graphics always improve as there less rush after a year or so to bring games out so everyone with a consle will buy their game since it's the only one out... but after a while e.g mgs2 gta e.c.t it gets better :P

yah webbyman is right, most release games usually lack on features, these newer consoles are supposed to be even harder to program for. Also i hear microsoft didn't give developers enough time for starting titles so I hear it might be a particularily weak launch. At any rate that all sorts out after a year a so when developers start realizing potential of systems.

I read the script (the first act) which did seem to follow the halo 1, but it did seem to have flash backs and interludes. Hopefully following more of the first book which I think is a little more indepth and pyschological. IF any one else has read the books the 2nd book (which followed halo1) read just like the game. Aka he went here, turned and shot, went there turned and shot etc. As good as the game story was, the books that didn't follow it were much better

I'd love to see a GTA or MGS movie. In my opinion they have a far better plot than "player one ran around a corner and scored a headshot off of player four".

Seriously, all the reviews I read for Doom 3 had the lowest ratings I had ever seen. In my opinon, "The Rock" sucks as an actor, he is trying to hard to be identical to Schwarzenger- but without the cool austrian (?) accent.

But anways, trying to turn a FPS into a movie will only please the hardcore fans of said game. If you lack a monitor tan your not likely to like such a movie.
