Well, they do, but so does any game-maker. However patches work much better with bugfixes than content, which is what I'd assume they're working on.
I too would rather have a "when it's done" as long as it's quality. I don't wanna shell out for a turd.

I knew there was no way it was going to make November, now that they have delayed it I wouldn't be all to surprised if I don't see it until sometime at the end of next year

I hear that its a steam only release so theres no waiting for the retail version to be ready. One of my several problems with steam is I have dialup (dialup rocks... and rocks dont move)

Damn...Feburary to March. While I know the wait will be worth it, its still rather disapointing after looking forward to it for so long. But thats valve for ya :P

Good to hear Valve are planning more quality software... rather than releasing the crap that is available from others.

I trust Valve to make sure the game is finished and in high standards before they let it hit the shelves. I think we should just wait on this one and expect a really good game to top Half Life 2, at the same time I wish I had a time machine

I think that the whole pack is an ambitious add-on and with the issues and delays they had for lost coast (and that was just one level) that it is understandable that its getting bumped. I think we have more of a case of too aggressive a release target than anything else...
