Intresting, M$ must be increasingly concerned with Googles dominence online, since thats where Mr Gates has said he belives the future lies, and right now, google is sitting pretty in that future by the looks of things

well, I dont like the idea of google puting "prefered" links ahead of legitimate search results.

It's intersting that the google box in firefox is almost more usefull than the address box. I wonder if I counted how many times I used google in a day wether i'd be surprised at the result.

Google efectively filters the internet and displays only specific content. Have you ever actually found anything close to the topic that you were searching for on anything other than the first page of your search results?

At the least, very rarely, and it was on only the third or fourth page or so, but yes, I have, on occasion.
